A Case Report of Dysmenorrhea Treated by Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang based on Shanghanlun Provisions

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : This case report presents the effect of Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang on dysmenorrhea. The patient was diagnosed with Taeyang-byung based on Shanghanlun provisions.
Methods : According to Shanghanlun seven meridian patterns diagnostic system, we diagnosed the patient as Taeyang-byung and she has been suffering from dysmenorrhea. The patient was treated with Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang. and it was provided for 2 months.
Results : After the treatment, the degree of dysmenorrhea reduced from 10 to 2 on VAS.
Conclusions : This case study show an effectiveness of using Galgunhwangryunhwanggum-tang according to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions on hyperhidrosis.
